Pan and Tilt Option for GeoVISION™ Camera Systems The Deluxe Control Panel has a joy stick to allow the operation to point the camera in any direction. View in any direction with the
Motorized Pan and Tilt Option for the Deluxe GeoVISION™ Camera Systems.
It allows one to pan left and right 360 degrees and tilt the camera up and
down 170 degrees by remote control simply by moving the joy stick. The system
can go as deep as 2000 feet underwater with the standard stainless steel
camera in boreholes two inches or greater. The Pan and Till option also
allows viewing of an important subject from various angles which can provide
more detail and lead to a better understanding than is obtained from a duel
down and side view camera. The complete Pan and Tilt assembly will fit into a
1 7/8" diameter borehole making it possible to gain access though small
bores to view shafts, mines, caissons, and other large areas. The combination
of pan and tilt, with the ultra low light camera, and the super eight light
is very effective in large bores, voids, mines, and caves where one may need
to look around at distant objects. The standard and Jr color and ultra low
light B/W cameras are interchangeable in the field. It uses a two motor and one camera design allowing the operator to point the camera with lights in any direction including up. This unique design provides significant savings over multi-camera designs. The Pan and Tilt option provides the operator with a quick and easy means to view in any direction. In relatively shallow boreholes, the manual tilting mechanism available with all GeoVISION™ systems is effective when using a pipe string. This method becomes increasing difficult at greater depths. As a general rule the deeper and larger the borehole the more useful the motorized Pan and Tilt option. The flexibility afforded by the Pan and Tilt option allows the user to do close up detailed inspection of area of interest in one pass down the borehole saving the need for repeated passes that sometimes decrease visibility by increase the amount of suspended material in the water. The Pan and Till option also allows viewing of an important subject various angles which can provide more detail and lead to a better understand then a side view only camera. The standard and Jr color cameras are interchangeable in the field with the standard and Jr ultra low light black and white cameras allowing good video images in viewing exceptionally low light environments. The combination of Pan-tilt with the ultra low light is helpful in large bores and void where one may need to look around. Several types of supplemental dive lights are available and can be attached the GeoVISION™ system. When used with the most powerful supplemental lights this system allows the user to view objects in large mines, caves, and voids greater than one hundred feet from the camera. Pan and Tilt option is used for deep and large boreholes This option is most cost effective in large borehole and mines where one may need to view to the side, up, or down. The motorized pan-tilt option is ordered most often when the user plans to view large and deep boreholes, those below 300 feet with diameters greater than 8 inches. The motorized Pan and Tilt option makes viewing in any direction simple, easy, and quick. One may accomplish all of these functions with the manual tilting mechanism of all GeoVISION™ models; however, turning and tilting the camera manually usually requires the user to furnish and operate the camera with a pipe-string. The convenience and time savings of the motorized pan-tilt is significant if one inspects large and deep borehole very often. Very
small boreholes The
pan-tilt motor housing is 1 3/4 inches in diameter. |
